Information we collect
We collect information you provide when creating an account, changing communication preferences, requesting support, or using direct-purchase and download features. This may include your name, email address, account identifier, consent choices, support correspondence, order and entitlement history, and product-download activity.
The website and its infrastructure may process IP address, approximate request country, browser and device information, request times, authentication-session information, security events, and diagnostic or error logs needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service.
For basic storefront measurement, our first-party aggregate counter records only the public page path and time of a page view. That counter does not store an IP address, full browser details, or a cross-session visitor identifier, and it is not used to create advertising profiles.
Marketplace and payment information
Purchases made through itch.io or another verified marketplace are processed under that marketplace's privacy and payment terms. MYTHLODE ASSETS may receive limited order, buyer-contact, support, tax, fraud, entitlement, or transaction information that the marketplace makes available to publishers. That information is used only for fulfillment, support, product updates, fraud prevention, bookkeeping, legal compliance, and other purposes disclosed here.
Stripe processes direct website payment information. MYTHLODE ASSETS may receive transaction identifiers, status, amount, currency, billing or tax details, and limited payment-method information such as card brand and last four digits. We do not ask customers to send or store a full card number on this website.
How we use information
We use information to authenticate accounts; provide downloads and updates; document purchases and policy acceptance; understand which public storefront pages receive interest; prevent fraud and abuse; respond to support requests; maintain security; comply with legal, accounting, and tax duties; and send transactional notices. Marketing and general-news emails are optional and depend on the preferences selected by the customer.
Service providers and disclosure
We use Supabase for website authentication and account data, Cloudflare and OpenAI Sites for website infrastructure, Porkbun for domain services, Stripe for direct checkout, and itch.io for marketplace sales. Those providers process information under their own terms and privacy commitments.
We may disclose information when required by law, to protect customers or the service, or as part of a lawful business transfer. MYTHLODE ASSETS does not sell customer personal information.
Cookies, local storage, and tracking
The website uses authentication and security cookies or similar browser storage needed to sign customers in, preserve a requested session, protect accounts, and complete account flows. These are used to provide customer-requested functions, not to create advertising profiles.
The anonymous page-view counter does not set an analytics cookie or attempt to identify a person across browser sessions.
No third-party behavioral-advertising pixel or optional audience-tracking system is enabled in the current configuration. If that changes, this policy and any legally required consent or opt-out control must be updated before the new tracking is activated.
Retention, access, correction, and deletion
Account and entitlement records are retained while the account or download right remains active. Transaction, policy-acceptance, security, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, and dispute records are retained for the period reasonably required by law and ordinary business duties. Support messages are retained while needed to resolve and document the request.
An account with no purchase history may be permanently deleted from the signed-in account page after the current password is verified. Accounts with purchase records require support review so login access and unnecessary profile data can be removed without destroying receipts, license history, or records that must be retained. Depending on location, a customer may also have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, a portable copy, or an appeal.
Security and customer choices
Passwords are handled by Supabase Auth and are not stored directly by MYTHLODE ASSETS. Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are used, but no online system can guarantee absolute security. Keep passwords private and contact support if an account may be compromised.
Optional email preferences may be changed from the account page. Transactional, security, purchase, entitlement, and legally required notices may still be sent when necessary to provide the service.
Children, international processing, and changes
The website is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Customers must otherwise be legally able to create an account and purchase digital products in their location.
Service providers may process information in the United States and other locations where they operate. When applicable law requires safeguards for an international transfer, the responsible parties will use the legally available measures applicable to that processing. Material policy changes will be posted and communicated when required.
